Christian Faith

Friends International is a Christian organisation, and therefore we have strong links with local churches and Christian groups in Lancaster. We also seek to provide opportunities if you wish to find out about the Christian faith.

Explore Christianity

Each year free courses are run which explain the Christian faith. This is an opportunity to find out more about Christianity and the Bible, and is open to students of any nationality or religious background.

Sundays @ 12:30pm - Discover Jesus in Mark's Gospel

Lunch followed by a Bible study and chance for questions run by Moorlands Church; meeting at Ripley St. Thomas 6th Form Centre, Ashton Road

Explore Christianity for those who want to investigate the Christian faith

Dicipleship Explored for those who want to grow in being a follower of Jesus through studying the book of Jonah.

Growing as a Christian

Many of the Local Churches in Lancaster have Bible studies in small groups meeting during the week.

The Graduate Christian Fellowship at Lancaster University also meets for Bible Study and Fellowship.  Tuesdays at 6:30pm in the TV & Meeting Room,  Graduate Porters Lodge, Alexandra Park.

The Chinese Christian Fellowship at Lancaster University meets for Bible Study and Fellowship, in Mandarin language.  Fridays 7pm-9pm in the Chaplaincy Centre, Lancaster University.  See the 'Other Activities' page for more details.


Lancaster University Christian Union

The CU runs regular events for those wishing to explore Christianity.

Lunchbars are held every Thursday lunchtime.  See the Home page for more information.

Globe Cafe

Globe Cafe is an event held every Friday evening for international students.
