Across Cultures - International Women's Group

Across Cultures is run by a group of local Christian women and its aim is to offer friendship to all international women during their time in Lancaster.

The programme involves a light lunch, looking at a short Bible story and cooking or doing a craft together.

These meetings are friendly, relaxed and informative.

Spring Term 2012:

9th January, 23rd January, 6th February, 27th February, 12th March, 26th March

Across Cultures meets at St. Thomas' Centre, Marton Street  from 12:15 to 2:30pm.

The Globe Cafe @ Lancaster University 

The Globe Cafe is run by students from the University Christian Union, and welcomes people of any faith or none.

It is a place to come and meet other international and British students, make new friends, practise your English, play games, enjoy free tea, coffee & biscuits, and learn about British culture and customs.  There is also a chance to look at the Bible together.

The Chinese Christian Fellowship 

We meet in the Quiet Room of Lancaster University's Chaplaincy Centre every Friday during term time from 7pm to 9pm, and occasionally during the holidays.  We hold meetings in Mandarin Chinese but welcome all those who speak any Chinese dialect or even English.  Please contact us at the following email address or view us at our blog.
